Data Requests and Account Deletion

1. Download a copy

Signed-in users can open profile settings and choose Download my data. The export includes available account, legal acceptance, project, collaboration, and publication records. Large media files or provider-controlled authentication data may require a separate process.

2. Correct information

Update editable profile or project information in the application. For information you cannot edit, email [email protected] from the account address and describe the field and correction requested.

3. Request account deletion

Open profile settings and choose Request account deletion, or email [email protected] from the account address. The in-product action records a request; it does not instantly erase the account. Romergo verifies ownership, reviews public projects and collaborations, and then performs the applicable process.

4. Identity verification

We may ask you to authenticate, confirm control of the account email, provide a request identifier, or give limited additional information. Do not email passwords, session tokens, or unnecessary identity documents. An authorized representative must show valid authority.

5. What may remain temporarily

Some information may remain temporarily in backups, security and abuse-prevention logs, legal acceptance and publication records, dispute files, or data required by a valid legal obligation. Public or shared content may require a coordinated removal or ownership-transfer decision. The current operating targets are listed in the Privacy Policy.

6. Timing and limits

We aim to acknowledge a request within 7 days and complete a verified, straightforward request within 30 days. If a request is unusually complex or affects shared or public content, we may take up to 60 days and provide a status update. These are operational targets, not a statement of a deadline imposed by a particular law.
