Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-07-23 · Last updated: 2026-07-23 · Version: 1.0.0
1. Purpose
Use Romergo to create and play lawful interactive stories without harming people, rights holders, systems, or the service. This policy applies to public, unlisted, private, draft, API, and MCP activity.
2. Rights and permissions
Do not upload, transform, publish, or distribute material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, database, moral, or neighbouring rights. You must have the licences, permissions, and consents needed for images, music, sound effects, voices, fonts, video, personal likenesses, source files, and AI training or generated inputs you use.
3. Illegal or dangerous activity
Do not use Romergo to create, facilitate, solicit, or promote activity prohibited by applicable law; exploitation or abuse of children; non-consensual sexual content; credible threats; trafficking; fraud; or instructions primarily intended to cause unlawful harm.
4. Malware, phishing, and security abuse
Do not distribute malware, phishing pages, credential theft, malicious code, deceptive downloads, or payloads that compromise devices or accounts. Do not bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, safety checks, rights confirmations, or other technical protections. Authorized security research must follow agreed scope.
5. Privacy, harassment, and impersonation
Do not publish personal or confidential information without a lawful basis, stalk or harass people, issue threats, coordinate abuse, or impersonate a person or organization deceptively. Do not simulate a real person’s identity, voice, or likeness without the rights and lawful basis required for that use.
6. Platform and API abuse
Do not overload Romergo, scrape or automate beyond documented interfaces and limits, create accounts to evade enforcement, probe other users’ data, interfere with service operation, or use API or MCP access to bypass product controls. Do not create products through Romergo that are prohibited by applicable law.
7. Misleading and harmful content
Do not falsely present fabricated material as an authentic statement or action of a real person in a way likely to cause harm. Sensitive and mature material must follow the Content Guidelines and applicable age controls.
8. Enforcement
Depending on context, severity, history, and urgency, Romergo may issue a warning, restrict uploads or publishing, hide a publication, remove content, preserve evidence, suspend an account, terminate access, or make a legally required report. Urgent action may happen before notice; where practical, we will explain the action and available review path.
9. Reporting
Report general abuse to [email protected], copyright issues to [email protected], privacy issues to [email protected], and security vulnerabilities to [email protected]. A report is reviewed by a person and does not automatically prove a violation.
