Copyright and Takedown Policy

Effective date: 2026-07-23 · Last updated: 2026-07-23 · Version: 1.0.0

1. Respect for rights

Romergo expects authors to publish only material they created or are authorized to use. Rights holders can ask for review of material they reasonably believe infringes their rights.

Romergo has not registered a DMCA Designated Agent or another statutory copyright representative. The email process below is the current operational complaint channel and is not a claim of eligibility for a statutory safe-harbour programme.

Email [email protected] with:

Do not send passwords, government identity documents, or unrelated personal data in the first notice. Knowingly false claims may create liability.

3. Initial review and temporary action

Romergo records the date, checks whether required information is present, identifies the publication and material, and may request clarification. Where reasonably necessary to limit ongoing harm, Romergo may temporarily hide a publication or restrict access while the notice is reviewed. A notice does not automatically cause permanent deletion.

4. Notice to the author

Where lawful and appropriate, Romergo will notify the affected author, describe the material and action, share the claimant’s notice or a safe summary, and explain how to respond. Information may be withheld where disclosure would create a safety, privacy, or legal risk.

5. Counter-notice

An author who believes material was removed or hidden by mistake may email [email protected] with:

Romergo will review the response and may forward it to the claimant where permitted. Restoration timing and procedure depend on applicable law, safety, and the information received.

6. Repeat infringement

Romergo may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously infringe rights, considering substantiated notices, counter-notices, outcomes, context, and attempts to evade enforcement. We do not treat every unverified allegation as a confirmed strike.
