1. What you can publish

You can publish original or properly licensed interactive fiction, visual novels, educational stories, games, and other lawful quests. Keep titles, descriptions, tags, previews, and access settings accurate enough for players to make an informed choice.

2. Rights come first

Before uploading or publishing, confirm that you can use every image, illustration, track, sound effect, voice, font, video, text, logo, character, and other asset. A file being publicly available does not mean it is free to reuse. Keep source and licence records.

3. AI-generated content

You may use AI-generated content only when your use of the tool, inputs, references, output, voices, and likenesses is lawful and allowed by the relevant provider. Review output for rights, privacy, misleading claims, and harmful material. Do not describe AI output as a real person’s authentic work or statement when it is not.

4. Real people and impersonation

Do not use a real person’s name, face, voice, identity, or private information in a deceptive or harmful way without the necessary rights and lawful basis. Satire, commentary, documentary, or public-interest uses still require careful legal and contextual review.

5. Sensitive and mature material

Romergo does not currently require an age rating. The optional future labels are `Everyone`, `12+`, `16+`, and `18+`; authors should choose the label that best communicates violence, sexual themes, self-harm, substance use, strong language, or other sensitive subjects. A future `18+` quest may ask the player to confirm that they are at least 18 without identity verification. Do not publish sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate material, exploitative content, or material whose distribution is unlawful.

6. Public, unlisted, and private projects

Public quests can be discovered and indexed. Unlisted quests can still be shared by anyone with the link. Private controls reduce access but are not a safe place for secrets or unlawful content. The same rights and safety rules apply to every visibility.

7. Player safety and quality

Do not use misleading buttons, concealed downloads, phishing, malware, or interfaces intended to trick players. Provide reasonable content context and avoid flashing or audio patterns that create an unnecessary accessibility risk where practical.

8. Consequences

Romergo may ask for changes, limit discovery, add a warning, hide a publication, remove content, restrict features, or suspend an account. Severe, repeated, or evasive violations may lead to termination. Reports are reviewed in context rather than automatically treated as proven.
